Finally, why not end this beautiful day by climbing The Great Dune of the Pyla ( a classified site), and enjoy a breathtaking view at sunset. It is the highest sand dune in Europe. At the top, you’ll enjoy a 380° view over the vast pine forest, the tip of The Cap Ferret peninsula and the Arguin Bank, where the sand meets the sea. The multiple colour variations are breathtakingly beautiful and a good reminder of how precious our planet is.
